For 16th August’s Hot Food Friday, we welcome back The Pork Peddler, who will be bringing more of his 18 hour slow roast pork to be served in brioche buns, together with the delicious homemade BBQ sauce, apple slaw and pickles that we enjoyed the last time. There’ll also be halloumi burgers served with grilled red pepper and pomegranate seeds. To follow The Pork Peddler’s food, Flic’s Rustic Bakes will be joining the evening to tempt us with some fabulous cakes for dessert including, chocolate Hop Shed cake (made with our Phoenix Porter), brownies, cup cakes, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, fruit tart or crumble served with custard or crème fraîche. If you’ve not got room after the main course, the cakes can be taken away to eat later! Needless to say, to help wash all the fabulous food down, we’ll have four of our beers on draught, including our new Houdan Pale IPA, together with Hop Shed Cider and bottled ciders from Celtic Marches, plus our usual selection of wines, soft drinks and free squash! Food will be served from when we open at 4:30pm. We hope you’ll be able to join us!
